Slovenia midfielder Robert Koren is a target for Blackpool boss Ian Holloway.

The News of the World says former West Brom ace Koren, 29, was released by Roberto Di Matteo at the end of last season.

But his Premier League ambitions for the upcoming term will be rekindled at Blackpool.

Disgruntled Holloway is frustrated with the lack of funds he will have to compete next season but is delighted to be drawing closer to a free signing with the quality to add a new dimension to his squad.
