Blackpool face Burnley competition for Sheffield Wednesday striker Tudgay

Blackpool face competition from Burnley for Sheffield Wednesday striker Marcus Tudgay.

The Daily Mail says Burnley have entered the race to sign Tudgay.

Blackpool failed with a £500,000 bid for the hitman on Monday prompting interest from Clarets boss Brian Laws.

He worked with Tudgay during his time as manager at Hillsborough and will make a move if the frontman is allowed to leave at a bargain price.
