At the time of the Lions clash, Daniels was not properly registered meaning the Football Association had no choice but to take action.
Blackpool have since accepted a £30,000 fine, half of which will be suspended, and the sanction was a fair enough course of action according to chairman Karl Oyston.
"The process and outcome is one that we feel is fair. We'd now like to draw a line under this matter and focus on the rest of the season," Oyston said in a brief statement on the club's official website.
