Roque Santa Cruz admits he needs to start scoring at Ewood Park if Blackburn are to secure a coveted European berth.
The Paraguay striker, 26, has proved a revelation since joining Rovers from German giants Bayern Munich in a £3.8million switch last summer.
Fifteen goals are testament to his success but only four of his strikes have come on home soil and three of those were in the Carling Cup.
Saturday's goalless draw against Everton left Blackburn with just two wins from their last eight Barclays Premier League home games - none of which their leading marksman has scored in.
"I hope everybody can improve when we play at home and it would also be nice to score a few more goals in front of our fans," said Santa Cruz.
"I'm enjoying the games and every goal I score is important for the team, but we want to play in Europe so we need to keep winning games.
"My target is to keep scoring as many as I can to put us in that position when the places are decided at the end of the season."
The stalemate against Everton left Mark Hughes' side with only five home wins all season.
