Blackburn Rovers fullback Michel Salgado believes Manchester United are missing his former Real Madrid teammate Cristiano Ronaldo.
Salgado is at Old Trafford today for Rovers' clash with United.
He said: "I don't want to talk too much about Cristiano but I've stayed in touch with him.
"For Cristiano, I've told him the first year will always be a difficult one. It's different there than it is even playing at Man United.
"I think Man United are missing him, that's for sure. Any team would miss a player like him.
"But they can't afford to think about him and the past."
