Blackburn Rovers midfielder Bryan Hodge is set for trials with Scotland's St Mirren.

The midfielder, who started his career at Rangers, has not been able to establish himself at Ewood Park and will now try to prove his worth to Buddies boss Gus MacPherson.

Hodge was to sign with Hibs before Mixu Paatelainen's departure.
