Sky Sports is reporting that Blackburn Rovers youngster Ryan Edwards is being lined up for a loan switch to League Two Rochdale. The 18-year-old was a stand-out performer for Rovers in their march to the final of the FA Youth Cup this season and the club rewarded him with a two-year deal.
A number of clubs are thought to have expressed an interest in taking the central defender on loan, but Rochdale are at the front of the queue.
