A move to England remains on for released AZ Alkmaar striker Denni Avdic.

Avdic was released from his AZ contract on Monday.

The striker has trialled with Blackburn Rovers in preseason and agent Hasan Cetinkaya says there remains interest from English clubs.

He told GT: "Yes, it can happen.

"Some English clubs and some clubs from other countries have been in touch. We'll see what happens."
