Blackburn striker Rhodes not bothered missing Hull transfer

Blackburn Rovers striker Jordan Rhodes says he wasn't unsettled by interest from Hull City.

Rhodes makes his 100th appearance for Blackburn against Huddersfield tomorrow, having already scored 56 goals, including four in his last seven matches.

Asked if interest from the Tigers had affected him, Rhodes told the Lancashire Telegraph: "No absolutely not."

"To go out and play on a fantastic football pitch, with good lads, with a good team, and for a great club like Blackburn, there's no better job in the world than being a footballer and I'm very lucky.

"I signed a new contract in the summer that keeps me here for a little longer as well, I was very happy to do so, and I am very happy to be a Blackburn Rovers player."
