Blackburn Rovers are seeking more information from prospective owner Daniel Williams.

The Mirror says Williams and his Nuttall Investments team are the clear leaders in the race to take over at Rovers.

Insiders believe their offer is £10m more than any rival.

The deal was put together by former Rovers director Walter Hubert, who sold out to Jack Walker 20 years ago, and is now based in London.

However, Blackburn are keen to know more about the money men who are involved with Williams.
