Blackburn Rovers loanee Harvey Elliott has dismissed doubts around Liverpool teammate Roberto Firmino.

Elliott has hailed Firmino as "unbelievable."

He told the Counter Attack podcast when asked who impresses him in training: “You know what, Firmino. This guy, when he's on the ball you just can't get it off of him.

"He's a joke. I don't know, maybe it's a Brazilian thing, technically they're just so good, even Fabinho, even Alisson to be fair. No but, Firmino is a joke.

“When I first saw Firmino in training I was just dazed watching him because what he was doing with the ball was just unbelievable."
