Blackburn have turned down a bid from Coventry City for striker Francis Jeffers.
The Sky Blues boss Iain Dowie was hoping Rovers would allow the former £8million striker to quit Ewood Park for nothing, but was told the ex-Arsenal and Everton star would cost £750,000.
