Blackburn Rovers boss Mark Hughes has made goalkeeper Gunnar Nielsen his first signing of the summer.

The 20-year-old stopper, who originally hails from the Faroe Islands but plays for Danish side BK Frem, has agreed a two-year deal with the club after impressing Hughes and his coaching staff during a trial spell at the end of last season.
