Blackburn Rovers have joined the race for Sheffield United defender Matt Kilgallon.

Kilgallon comes off contract in June and so far has refused to discuss new terms with Bramall Lane chiefs.

The Daily Star says the Blades will now hold last-ditch contract talks with Kilgallon. Hull, Bolton and Blackburn are all keen on the defender who has already snubbed two offers of a new and improved deal.
