Blackburn Rovers caretaker boss Steve Kean has cooled interest in Norwich City defender Russell Martin.

Martin, a consistent performer for Paul Lambert's Canaries this season, has been linked with a move to Ewood Park.

But Kean told the Lancashire Telegraph that Martin is not under consideration.

The Scot said he hopes to bring in "at least two new players and possibly three" in the next few weeks.
