Blackburn Rovers boss Sam Allardyce is keen for assurances from the club's potential new owners.
The People says the Rovers chief is anxious to avoid a repeat of the sacking he suffered at Newcastle when Mike Ashley bought out Freddy Shepherd and cut short his reign.
Allardyce will be looking for full compensation if there is any attempt by the Indian-based VH Group to get rid of him or interfere in transfer dealings.
