New Blackburn boss Sam Allardyce has not spoken to the BBC for more than two years since an investigation programme into some transfer dealings when he was with former club Bolton. Nothing was proved and Allardyce was not charged by the FA.
But he made his point by refusing interview requests from the BBC even during his time as Newcastle boss.
The Sun reports a friend of Allardyce said: "Sam has decided it's time to move on.
"He is just happy to be back in the game and enjoying management again."
