Blackburn Rovers boss Sam Allardyce has confirmed he must sell before buying.
Rovers have scored just once in their last six league games and Allardyce has next to nothing in his January transfer kitty.
"I will have to sell to buy," said the Rovers manager. "We haven't got the money to go out and buy a Crouchie or a Darren Bent, who were available in the summer - so where do you go to find the goals?
"That's why I think we might be better off just working with what we have got and hope they come up with the goods."
