Blackburn boss Allardyce disappointed with Dunn injury

Blackburn Rovers boss Sam Allardyce was disappointed to see David Dunn breakdown in their 1-0 win over Everton.

Blackburn's win was achieved even though influential midfielder Dunn came off early with a groin strain.

Allardyce said: "It was a disappointment to lose David so early as he was our leading goalscorer.

"He has completed every single training session and every single game in pre-season and just over-stretches and extends his groin a little bit. That was a concern."
