Blackburn agree fee with Bournemouth for striker King

ChampionshipBlackburn Rovers have agreed compensation with Bournemouth over the sale of Josh King, avoiding the need for a tribunal.

King signed for the Cherries on a three-year contract in May but he was under 24 so compensation had to be paid to Rovers.

A statement on Blackburn's website read: "We have reached an agreement with AFC Bournemouth in respect of compensation for former player Joshua King."
