Liverpool have agreed a fee of £1.75million with ChampionshipBlackburn Rovers for midfielder Jay Spearing, reports the Daily Mail. However, the deal is dependent on Rovers raising the money by selling a player, with Martin Olsson, Gael Givet and Mauro Formica among those likely to leave Ewood Park.

Meanwhile, Blackburn left for their training camp in Portugal without Sweden international Olsson who is a target for Norwich, Galatasaray and Russian club Kuban Krasnodar.
