Birmingham City midfielder Teemu Tainio has warned fans he may give away his Finnish blog.

On-loan from Sunderland, Tainio told the Sunday Mercury: "From time to time I have a blog that I write back in Finland. It's been going for a few years now and I just contribute to it when I feel that I've got something to say. It's usually about the national team or when the season starts here in England, nothing special, just once in a while.

"I don't want to get too involved in the blog that I have to end up doing it all the time, only when there's something of interest to talk about.

"The last one I did was when I joined Birmingham and I mentioned how the move here was good timing.

"The blog wasn't my idea, it was the Finnish media officer's, who is a friend of mine and he said 'maybe we could do this'. I've been doing it since."
