Birmingham's MD in amazing leaving package

Birmingham City managing director Karren Brady is entitled to a £520,000 one-off bonus after the sale of Blues goes through - plus all expenses paid use of an executive box, private health insurance and a club mobile phone, reports the Birmingham Mail. The generous package of perks for the long-serving board member is revealed in the club's formal recommendation document to shareholders that Carson Yeung's £81.51 million bid should be approved.

The document, issued to all shareholders, reveals for the first time the pay and benefits of Brady, who is leaving St Andrew's along with David Sullivan and Ralph Gold after more than 16 years.

Brady could not be contacted for comment.
