Birmingham City striker Gary McSheffrey admits the players are waiting for their new manager.
McSheffrey told Sky Sports News upon leaving training yesterday: "I'm not sure what's going on. The players are pretty oblivious to what's going on.
"We'll arrive tomorrow as normal, and if we've got a new manager, we've got a new manager."
Regarding the likelihood of Alex McLeish succeeding Steve Bruce, the former Coventry forward said: "He took over Rangers and did really well, and he took over Scotland and we know how well Scotland have done.
"We have just got to be professional about our job and hang in there until the new guy comes in and give our all for him."
