Birmingham's McFadden still wants penalty responsibility

James McFadden insists he is ready to keep taking Birmingham's penalties despite his miss against Manchester City. Manchester City keeper Shay Given kept out the Scottish international's spot-kick to deny the home side all three points.

McFadden has brushed off the disappointment and wants to be counted on the next time the Blues get their chance from 12 yards.

"It was a poor penalty," McFadden said in the Birmingham Mail. "I don't know why but I changed my mind where I was going to put it. But I will be ready to take the next one."
