Birmingham City are set to swoop for Aston Villa midfielder Craig Gardner.
The Sunday Mercury says the 22-year-old is frustrated with his lack of first team opportunities and has told friends it may be time to move.
Blues are interested in the Yardley-born midfielder and, although Gardner comes from a big Villa family - his brother Gary is a member of the Academy team - he has indicated he would be interested in a move to St Andrew's.
