QPR have moved to sign Birmingham striker Marcus Bent on loan until the end of the season. The 31-year-old recently returned to St Andrews following a loan spell at Middlesbrough.

Bent, who signed for the Blues from Charlton in 2008, scored three times in 35 appearances during the 2008-09 campaign but has not featured for Alex McLeish's side in the Barclays Premier League this season.
