Dundee United striker David Goodwillie is a surprise target for Birmingham City.
The People says Brum boss Alex McLeish is winning the race to sign Dundee United striker Goodwillie.
His goalscoring exploits in the SPL - 13 this season - have caught the eye of several clubs, including Championship promotion chasers Swansea City, as well as McLeish's former club Rangers.
But Birmingham lead the pack and are set to tie up a deal in the summer.
