Birmingham City have offered striker Nikola Zigic to Espanyol.

Sport says a temporary deal with the option of a sale at the end of it has been proposed by the Championship side.

Espanyol were linked with the towering striker in the summer, while the likes of Cesena, Granada and Dijon are also understood to have been sounded out about signing the 31-year-old.

Espanyol are in the market for new attacking players and are currently holding talks with Ajax forward Mounir El Hamdaoui.
