Skysports.com reports that Birmingham are interested in landing Swiss international Ludovic Magnin.

The Stuttgart left-back is out of contract in the summer and a host of clubs are tracking him.

Magnin is now approaching full fitness after recovering from injury and is currently in the United Arab Emirates competing in the Dubai Cup.

Stuttgart are likely to accept a fee for the 28-year-old rather than losing him for nothing in the summer.

Birmingham may have to move quick as there is rival interest from England and France.
