Birmingham City loan signing Matt Derbyshire is keen to prove himself Premiership class.
Derbyshire became known as "The English Killer" by the fans of Olympiakos after scoring twice to set up a Greek Cup final win over deadly rivals AEK Athens.
And he said: "They are so passionate about their football over there. It was a fantastic experience to play in that environment - nothing scares you after that.
"It's a big change to come back home. I was saying to the lads after the Rochdale game, when we played in the pouring rain, that it was the first time I had even worn studs in 18 months.
"Obviously it's down to the gaffer whether he puts me in the team at Bolton, but I hope I get the chance to try to show that I've improved while I've been away.
"People will say it's not the most glamorous game of the weekend - but that's not the way I see it. Every single game back here is massive for me."
