Birmingham City are eyeing Crystal Palace midfielder Jonny Williams.

The Birmingham Mail says Brum are weighing up a £2million bid for Crystal Palace ace Williams in January.

The 23-year-old - currently on loan with Championship side Sunderland - could be in line for a permanent move away from Selhurst Park.

The Eagles would be willing to sell the Welsh international after he failed to assert himself in the Premier League.

Despite featuring for the Black Cats five times this season under Simon Grayson, Palace can still offload Williams if a serious offer comes in from elsewhere.
