Birmingham City want to end the loans of Arsenal pair Carl Jenkinson and Cohen Bramall.
They were part of an ill-fated summer spending spree by Harry Redknapp which saw 13 new players join City.
Successor Steve Cotterill wants a smaller more united squad at the relegation candidates and neither Jenkinson or Bramall are featuring, says the Mirror.
Jenkinson, 25, has made only one appearance despite returning to fitness from a shoulder injury and Bramall, 21, just three.
Cotterill has already cancelled the loan of Liam Walsh from Everton and shipped out David Cotterill and Emilio Nsue since taking charge in October.
