Birmingham City will be due a bumper cut of the fee Borussia Dortmund sell Jude Bellingham for.

There is a growing expectation Bellingham will command a fee in excess of £100million should the likes of Liverpool and Manchester City come calling.

The Athletic says Birmingham will be entitled to a percentage 'higher than five per cent' of the final transfer fee.

Bellingham progressed through the academy of the Championship side before joining Borussia Dortmund, who will be keen to demand as much money as possible for the England international when offers arrive.

With Birmingham set to receive a share of this sale, it could well mean Dortmund end up setting their asking price even higher than anticipated.
