Birmingham City defender Scott Dann has shrugged off talk of an England call.
Dann and Roger Johnson in particular earned plenty of post match plaudits for their impressive performance against Liverpool.
But asked if he and his central defensive partner had thought about England recognition, Dann told bcfc.com: "We don't really speak about it.
"We just try and do our job at a good level and I think if we keep playing like that there's no reason why the England manager can't come and have a look.
"But we've just got to keep performing in the Premier League and hopefully whether it comes sooner or later in our careers we can make that step up."
