Birmingham City boss Alex McLeish has reaffirmed plans to send Irish goalkeeper Colin Doyle away on-loan next season.

"I feel it's right for Doylie after not really figuring, but coming in and doing a sterling job at the tail end of the season, that he needs to get regular first-team football," said McLeish.

"The difference [after Championship promotion] was that I was looking for two goalkeepers of big experience."
