Birmingham boss Eustace confident keeping hold of Man Utd midfielder Mejbri

Birmingham City boss John Eustace is confident keeping hold of Hannibal Mejbri through the January market.

Eustace has insisted that Hannibal Mejbri wants to stay with the Championship side, rather than return to Manchester United in January.

"Everyone that is on loan wants to stay here, it's a very happy group and we want everyone to stay until the end of the season," Eustace told Birmingham Live. "The most important thing is that we don't get any injuries. We keep working hard.

"If we do lose players, there's nothing we can do, we just get on with it. Whoever would come in, it's a great opportunity for them to claim a shirt. Again, the group is very tight and we want everyone here until the end of the season, but a lot of it is out of my control.

"When we signed the players, we wanted players with a point to prove. You've got a squad in there with a point to prove. Everyone is equal; there are no loans, there's no young and old, everyone is on a level playing field and everyone is getting on really well."
