Birmingham City boss Alex McLeish says he has the money reserved for Moussa Dembele burning a hole in his pocket.
The former AZ Alkmaar striker chose Fulham over Brum this week.
"There's a lot of names that we are looking at possibly bringing in," McLeish told the Birmingham Mail.
"We're still looking at maybe a loan situation and, as you know, we never got Dembele so there's the money for another player of similar quality."
