Birmingham City boss Lee Clark admits they have the option to sign permanently West Bromwich Albion midfielder Scott Allan.

The Scot joined on-loan last week.

Clark said: "Scott likes to get on the ball and make things happen.

"He can play in a wide area, but I'm predominantly bringing him in to be that attacking midfield player in behind the strikers.

"The deal is a season-long loan, but there is a view in January for us to make it a permanent deal."
