Birmingham City are offering £2.5 million for Manchester City striker Georgios Samaras.

Birmingham officials contacted City yesterday to enquire about the 22-year-old Greek international, who has made only four appearances for Sven Goran Eriksson this season, and were told the price is just £2.5m, says the Daily Mail.
