Birmingham City have lodged a complaint with FIFA over their January signing Lucas Castroman.

The Mirror says Castroman had agreed a move from Mexican side America but switched to Boca Juniors in Argentina.

And Brum ended up with only forward Mauro Zarate after Castroman's agent, Christian Otero, sent him on loan from Qatar club Al-Sadd instead.

"I hope FIFA support Birmingham as they were badly treated," said Otero.
