Billy Gilmour is determined to impress Chelsea boss Frank Lampard in preseason.

Acording to We Ain't Got No History, the teenager is modelling his game on the new Chelsea coach.

Speaking about his admiration for his new manager, he said: "My favourite Chelsea player growing up would probably be the gaffer [Lampard], definitely. Also, I will model myself on his game, scoring goals, box-to-box midfielder. So I would definitely say the gaffer."

Gilmour has already showcased his potential and was awarded the accolade of 'Revelation of the Tournament' in Toulon last year, before starring for the U19s in the UEFA Youth League and Premier League 2. Throughout the season he scored nine goals, and is considered one of the best young players in the academy.
