Billing doesn't care about Bournemouth fee

Philip Billing is not concerned about how much money he cost Bournemouth.

The Denmark under-21 international was the club's most expensive purchase of the recent summer transfer window.

At £15 million, Billing is a significant investment for a club that is not known for paying big transfer fees.

But Billing only cares about showing his best qualities, not his price tag.

When asked about his fee by the Daily Echo, he said: "I don't think about that to be fair. I am just doing what I love and that's playing football.

"I don't think about how much money you're sold for, or whatever.

"I decided to come here because I saw a big future with this club. I saw a squad that was exciting to work with and a manager who is unbelievable. That's my reason (why) I came here.

"I just want to learn, improve as a player and hopefully help this team have a very successful season and beyond that, of course.

"I love the area. Love Bournemouth so far, it's just nice."
