Slaven Bilic is fast emerging as the top candidate for the West Ham United job.
The Daily Star says Bilic is on a shortlist of candidates to replace Sam Allardyce which also includes Unai Emery, Marcelo Bielsa and Frank de Boer.
But while the Hammers considered Emery and Bielsa stronger candidates for the role, they may be forced to think again.
West Ham have already been snubbed by the likes of Rafa Benitez and Carlo Ancelotti, and are now braced for more disappointment.
Sources close to Bilic insist he remains interested in the job even though he was clearly not West Ham's first choice.
