Besiktas management are warming to keeping hold of on-loan Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius.
It was previously reported Besiktas had decided not to activate a clause to permanently bring Karius to the Vodafone Park for £7.25m and that the German would return to Anfield at the end of the season.
However, Fotospor says the club's other foreign players like Kevin Prince Boateng and Victor Ruiz insisted on returning to their home countries, while the Liverpool loanee said he's more than happy to stay in Istanbul during the coronavirus suspension.
It's claimed Karius has also told Besiktas' board that he can convince Liverpool over a permanent transfer for free.
In addition, the 26-year-old has told directors he will give up his previous unpaid wages to stay at the club.
