Besiktas signing Gokhan Inler holds no grudge against former Leicester City boss Claudio Ranieri.
The former Switzerland international left City on transfer deadline day in a move to Turkish club Besiktas after a frustrating 12 months at the King Power Stadium.
He told Besiktas' TV station: "Last season was wonderful for the club and the fans. It was really amazing (to win Premier League). Although I couldn't contribute as much I like to do, it's still a wonderful feeling. I come to Besiktas as a Premier League champion and this is a great thing.
"I also thank Ranieri. I couldn't say bad words about him. He's right not to play me because of the great combination in midfield. I respected his decision."
