Besiktas president Fikret Orman has admitted his admiration for Barcelona attacker Arda Turan.

However, he insists there's no plans of a January move for the Turkey international.

Turan has been put up for sale by Barca, with coach Ernesto Valverde insisting there's no room for the Turk in his plans.

Orman stated: "I like Arda and I would like to see him with the Besiktas jersey but we have players in his position.

"For now, we have not made progress on the transfer."
