Atiba Hutchinson has been named the Canadian Player of the Year for 2014.
The 31-year old midfielder, who plays his club football in Turkey with Besiktas, has landed the prize for the third time in five years.
Hutchinson has capped a successful individual season which saw him play a key part in Besiktas' Champions League run and was an integral part in four of Canada's five internationals during the calendar year.
Ontario-born Hutchinson, who has 68 caps for Canada, beat Ludogorets Razgrad goalkeeper Milan Borjan and Birmingham City's David Edgar to the award which he adds to his 2010 and 2012 trophies.
"Atiba has been the unheralded leader of our men's national team and one of the top players in the CONCACAF region for years," Canadian Soccer Association president Victor Montagliani said in a news release.
