Besiktas are interested in Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech. The London Evening Standard says Besiktas have emerged as a surprise contender to sign Chelsea's frustrated goalkeeper Cech in January.
Cech, 32, is no longer No1 under manager Jose Mourinho after being replaced by Thibaut Courtois, 10 years his junior, although he did make his second start of the season, against Maribor on Tuesday night.
Agent Mithat Halis, who has a connection with Sport Invest International - the group that represent Cech - has claimed that a switch to Besiktas is a possibility.
He said: "We have not held talks yet. However, Chelsea have recently made an agreement with Besiktas. Chelsea have similar deals with Vitesse and other clubs.
"If Cech does become available Besiktas would become a potential destination."
