Besiktas coach Sergen Yalcin held face-to-face talks with goalkeeper Loris Karius late last week.

With the big derby against Galatasaray later today, it's emerged Yalcin spoke face-to-face with the on-loan Liverpool shot-stopper to assure him of his support.

There's been claims Yalcin has no confidence in the German and wants to see him sent back to Liverpool at the end of the season.

However, in the lead up to today's huge game, Fanatik says Yalcin met with Karius and told him: "I trust you. I know you will do your best in this match. The whole load will not be on you. The defence will start from the attacking area, not from you."

Karius has conceded 46 goals in 31 Besiktas games this season.
